The grand annual traditional jazz celebration will begin with concerts at the Main Square. Then, Great New Orleans Parade will proceed from The Cracow Barbican to the Main Square. The Finale will take place on the Main Stage in front of the Town Hall, where Polish and American bands will play. Also, the “Jazzowy Baranek” award will be granted to one of the finest Polish and cracovian bass guitarists, Mr. Marian Pawlik.
PROGRAMME of the New Orlean’s Sunday:
12:00 – 16:00 – Four concerts in the Main Square’s cafes: Old Metropolitan Band, Boba Jazz Band, Beale Street Band, JBBO, who will play in “Pod Jaszczurami”, by the music book store “Kurant”, in the “Ratuszowa” restaurant and in the “Harris Piano Jazz Bar” Club.
17:00 – Great New Orleans Parade will proceed from The Cracow Barbican to the Main Square.
18:00 – The Grand Finale on the Main Stage in front of the Town Hall Tower, starring:
Karen Edwards,
JBBO & Stanley Breckenridge with special guests – Wojciech Karolak and Przemek Dyakowski,
Marian Pawlik Quartet.
20:00 Swing and Sway – dance with Swing & Sway school of dance.
