Magnificent pianist and composer, Alfredo Rodriguez, returns to Krakow’s audience. He’s show will take place at Manghha Museum on June 27, 2018.
Each recording of the Cuban pianist and composer Alfredo Rodríguez tells different story. His albums are not collections
of music, but stories with a characteristic narrative and clear point of view.
“The Little Dream”, the title track of the fourth studio album (Mack Avenue Records), gently builds on a uplifting statement – one that reflects the children’s hopes for building a brighter future in which tiny dreams and wonderful realities appear.
There is no better example than Rodríguez’s personal journey: from his modest beginning in Cuba to the discovery by Quincy Jones, leaving the family to emigrate to United States and pursue his own dream. During the last decade, Rodríguez has evolved from a young Cuban artist to a world-renowned Grammy-nominated musician with three internationally recognized releases: Sounds of Space (2011), The Invasion Parade (2014) and Tocororo (2016).
The album “The Little Dream” will be played in Krakow by the Alfredo Rodriguez Trio.
Tickets will be available soon.
